Your mental health could benefit from surfing

To me, surfing is a feeling that is hard to explain into words. What I can say is that it increases my mental health. It makes me feel intensely happy and content. Why is that? I read this article from Surf The Greats about what surfing does to your brain. It releases an amount of good chemicals, such as Adrenaline, Serotonin, Endorphins and Dopamine. It also alters different types of brain waves, such as Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta waves. No wonder surfing makes me feel intensely happy. Read the article here.
